Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Bakeluma website, bakery pricing software, team workspaces, and paid subscriptions.
Effective date: July 21, 2026 | Last updated: July 21, 2026
Operator and agreement
Bakeluma is operated by Guo Bin Fan, an individual residing in the People's Republic of China (the “Operator,” “Bakeluma,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Legal contact: legal@bakeluma.com.
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and the Operator concerning the Bakeluma website at https://www.bakeluma.com, accounts, bakery pricing software, team workspaces, support, and related services. The Privacy Policy, the terms shown at checkout, and any policy expressly incorporated into these Terms also form part of this agreement.
Accepting these terms
By agreeing during registration, creating an account, purchasing a plan, or continuing to use Bakeluma after these Terms take effect, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not register, purchase, or use the service.
We may record the version, time, language, and source of your acceptance. Consent required for non-essential cookies, marketing, sensitive information, or certain international transfers will be requested separately where required by law.
Eligibility, accounts, and authority
- You must be at least 18 years old or have reached the legal age to enter into this agreement where you live.
- If you use Bakeluma for a bakery, company, team, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
- You must provide accurate and current account, bakery, and billing information and must protect your credentials, devices, and sessions.
- Tell us promptly at privacy@bakeluma.com if you suspect unauthorized access to an account, workspace, or data.
- Some countries, regions, or sanctioned parties may not be able to use all service or payment features.
Service, plans, and team workspaces
Bakeluma helps bakery operators and teams organize ingredients, packaging, products, recipes, fixed costs, prices, margins, profits, historical versions, and related workflows.
Prices, billing intervals, quotas, history access, team seats, roles, permissions, and support levels are determined by the pricing page, in-product plan description, and checkout information shown when you subscribe. Bakeluma applies the applicable plan limits. If you reach a limit, we may prevent new entries or require an upgrade, but we will not delete existing data solely because a quota was reached.
A workspace owner controls membership, roles, permissions, and billing. Authorized administrators may remove members or change access. A removed member may lose access, while content created for the bakery normally remains in the workspace.
Your content
You or your workspace retain rights in the recipes, ingredients, packaging, products, images, costs, prices, notes, and other content submitted to Bakeluma. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license for as long as reasonably needed to host, process, display, transmit, protect, back up, troubleshoot, and provide that content as part of the service.
You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of your content and for having the rights and permissions needed to submit it. Bakeluma does not acquire ownership of your bakery business content except as directed by you or permitted by law.
Calculations and business decisions
Costs, break-even prices, suggested prices, margins, profits, loss indicators, and other results depend on the data and assumptions you enter. Incomplete, outdated, or incorrect inputs can produce inaccurate results.
Bakeluma is a pricing and cost-management aid. It does not provide accounting, tax, legal, financial, food safety, or other professional advice and does not guarantee a selling price, profit, or business result. You remain responsible for reviewing and making business decisions.
Payments and automatic renewal
Creem processes paid transactions as Merchant of Record. Creem's terms shown at checkout also apply to payments, taxes, invoices, payment methods, refunds, chargebacks, and payment disputes. Creem and its payment partners normally process full card details directly, while Bakeluma receives the subscription status and billing information needed to provide paid access.
Unless checkout states otherwise, paid plans are billed monthly in U.S. dollars and renew automatically until canceled. The final price, tax, currency conversion, and payment method are shown by Creem at checkout or in its customer portal. Paid access begins only after payment has been verified. Only the workspace owner may start or manage a subscription.
Upgrades, cancellation, payment problems, and refunds
- Upgrading an active paid subscription to a higher plan may result in a prorated charge for the remaining billing period. If cancellation has already been scheduled, an upgrade may first restore automatic renewal. Available estimates and effects will be shown before confirmation; Creem determines the final charge.
- The workspace owner may cancel automatic renewal through Bakeluma's subscription controls or the Creem customer portal. A normal cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and paid access usually continues until then. A scheduled cancellation may be resumed before the period ends.
- For payment failure or an unresolved subscription status, Bakeluma may provide up to 7 days of continued paid access. If payment is not restored, access may fall back to the Free plan. A dispute, confirmed refund, or terminal cancellation may suspend or end paid access sooner.
- Except where required by law, required under Creem's applicable rules, or expressly agreed by us, fees are not automatically refunded for unused time. Refund requests may be submitted through the Bakeluma contact form or Creem's support process.
- Nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights that apply where you live.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Bakeluma for unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, abusive, or harmful activity.
- Do not bypass authentication, workspace isolation, roles, plan limits, or other access controls, and do not access another account, workspace, system, or data without authorization.
- Do not upload malicious code or interfere with, overload, scan, scrape, reverse engineer, or damage the service, except where applicable law expressly gives you a right that cannot be restricted.
- Do not submit content you have no right to use or store full card details, government identifiers, biometric data, medical records, children's information, or other highly sensitive information that Bakeluma is not designed to process.
- Do not resell, rent, or provide the service to third parties through shared personal accounts unless we give written permission.
Bakeluma intellectual property
The Bakeluma software, code, interface, design, brand, trademarks, copy, and website content belong to the Operator or relevant licensors. These Terms give you only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service and do not transfer our intellectual property. We may use feedback you voluntarily provide to improve the service without acquiring ownership of your workspace content.
Privacy and confidentiality
We handle personal information as described in the Privacy Policy. You and your team must access workspace content only as authorized and protect non-public recipes, costs, profits, and account information. If you submit another person's information, you are responsible for having a lawful basis and providing any required notice.
Third-party services and availability
Bakeluma relies on third-party authentication, hosting, storage, email, monitoring, and payment services. Their own terms, privacy policies, and availability may apply. We take reasonable care when selecting and managing providers but do not control independently provided services or external websites.
We work to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security incidents, internet failures, third-party services, or events beyond reasonable control may affect availability. We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service and will give reasonable notice of planned material changes when practicable.
Suspension and termination
- You may stop using Bakeluma, cancel a subscription, or request account or workspace closure. Data deletion and retention are described in the Privacy Policy.
- We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, fail to pay, make a fraudulent transaction, threaten the service or other users, or if the law requires us to act. We will provide an explanation and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue when practicable, except in urgent security or legal situations.
- You should save information you need before an account or workspace closes. Export and deletion requests are handled according to current product capabilities, workspace permissions, the Privacy Policy, and applicable law.
- Payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability provisions, dispute terms, and provisions that by their nature should survive remain effective after termination.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bakeluma is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, a particular business result, that data can never be lost, or that third-party services will always be available. Warranties and consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded are not affected.
Limitation of liability and your responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, or loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, or data arising from the use of or inability to use Bakeluma. The Operator's aggregate liability arising from the service is generally limited to the fees you paid for Bakeluma during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limits do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury caused by gross negligence, or non-waivable consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for third-party claims caused by your unlawful use, infringement of another person's rights, unauthorized content, or material breach of these Terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the product, payment arrangements, service providers, or laws change. We will update the date on this page. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice by email, an in-product notice, the registration or sign-in flow, or another reasonable method, and request renewed acceptance where required by law.
Governing law and general terms
These Terms and disputes between you and the Operator are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Non-waivable consumer and data protection rights in your location continue to apply. Before starting a formal dispute, contact us and the parties will try to resolve it amicably within 30 days. If it cannot be resolved, either party may bring a claim before a people's court with jurisdiction at the Operator's place of residence, except where applicable law gives a consumer a mandatory local remedy.
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a right immediately is not a waiver. You may not assign this agreement without the Operator's consent; we may assign it as part of a lawful restructuring, transfer, or succession after providing any notice required by law.
The Chinese and English versions are intended to have the same meaning. If a difference cannot be reconciled, the Chinese version controls, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
